Weavy overview

It's a great set of components for developers of all skill levels. It allows them to add productivity features to any app and turn it into a collaborative powerhouse.

Weavy is designed to work with apps across the board - from no/low code platforms to full-stack apps.

Our UI Kit is designed for web apps using Web Components and is compatible with Retool, HubSpot, Atlassian, Superblocks, Softr, PowerApps, and more - including full-stack web apps using React, Angular, and Vue.

Weavy works beautifully with any backend through our rich web API.

Not automatically. You enable access to as many users as you like or limit access to a subset of users.

Pricing should be fair and have a direct link between the price paid and the value received.

Therefore, we use usage-based pricing with MAUs—Monthly Active Users—as our metric. This means we don't have annoying tiers, and you only pay for what you use.

In every billing cycle (30 days), we automatically tabulate the total number of MAUs. This number resets at the beginning of each billing cycle, and every MAU is only counted once per billing cycle.

Weavy is 100% usage-based pricing; you pay exactly for what you use. Unlike similar providers, there are no hidden fees for peak concurrent connections, nor are there any built-in soft or hard caps.

An MAU in a billing cycle is counted once if an access token has been issued for the user.

The number of users in your app does not automatically correlate to the number of access tokens issued in Weavy—that is in your total control.

This, combined with usage-based pricing and no hidden fees (concurrent overage rates, bandwidth, etc.), ensures you have full cost control.

Free is designed to get you started with great new features in your app; with no limitations on messages, posts, files, and more, you can truly build a great experience using our free plan.

Pro is designed to deliver the best-of-breed features for your users, along with dedicated support from our developer success team.

Yes! When you create an account, you will automatically be enrolled in a 30-day trial of the Pro subscription.

During the trial, you can upgrade at any time; otherwise, you'll be reverted back to the Free subscription after 30 days.

With Free, you'll get our great community support through Discord, Stack Overflow, and GitHub.

With Pro, you'll have community support and ticketed prioritized support with access to live chat with our developer success team.

30 days, billed on the same day every month.

For MAUs - $0 - you pay for your consumption at the end of the billing cycle.

That's usage-based pricing for you!

No, don't do that! 😉

If you cancel your Pro subscription, it will revert back to the Free subscription at the end of your billing cycle. After that, Weavy will still work in your app, but with limited features.

If you cancel Weavy altogether, remember that the features you built-in will stop working at the end of the billing cycle.

Yes, indeed! You can run Weavy in your infrastructure - AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or on-premise.

The price is the same - no difference - but obviously, you're not paying for the plan since it's your infrastructure.

We discount non-profit organizations, and startups,  and apply purchasing power parity (PPP) discounts when applicable.

Please talk to sales if you'd like to talk about this more.

No. Everything is paid through a credit- or debit card.

We want to simplify how Weavy is added to your development workflow-and with plans, you can configure the exact performance you need.

With plans, you can also easily add several environments for development, testing, and production.

When you create your account with Weavy, you automatically get a Free plan that you can upgrade at any time.

If needed, you can add more plans to your account for testing, staging, and production or for additional apps you're building.

Each plan has its own API URL, API keys, etc.

Free is your entry-level and a great place to start for learning and experimenting with a full Weavy experience for a few users.

Developer is great for testing, prototyping, and solo projects with no user limitations and no API throttling.

Basic is great for smaller production apps you're building.

Standard is for normal production apps, handling spikes of activities without degraded performance.

Premium is a dedicated resource with guaranteed performance, designed for enterprise-level and high workloads.

Performance tires for plans have a fixed price;

  • Free - $0 / month
  • Developer - $9 / month
  • Basic - $49 / month
  • Standard - $299 / month
  • Premium - $499 / month

When you scale up an plan, you'll be charged pro rata based on your billing cycle.

If you cancel, you'll stay on the same level until the end of the billing cycle. At the new billing cycle, your plan scales down.

Deleting a plan - Developer or higher - will instantly be deleted with no refund.

Yes, and the other way around: mix and match as you wish.

You can choose where Weavy is running, and data is stored.

The regions you can choose from are the East US, West Europe, and Central India.

Track the usage of Weavy within your app per component (chat, feeds, and files) with metrics including users, MAUs, messages sent, posts, files, comments, etc.

Health shows you the status of your environment and will indicate everything from good to bad that you need more performance to serve your users.

No. Everything is paid through a credit- or debit card.

As one of a kind toolkit, you can self-host Weavy in your infrastructure.

You can host in AWS, Azure, etc., or your own custom cloud.

Self-hosting has the same unparalleled flexibility -pay as you go - and grow with Weavy.

Obviously, you're not paying for plans since it's your infrastructure.

Thanks to Weavy, we were able to add new functions in the fraction compared to building it ourselves

Svetlozar Deskov

Full Stack Developer @ Klik2Learn Ltd

I like the versatility of their products - they are pretty flexible (with numerous features), especially with the ability to customize the functionality to your particular needs. The guys at Weavy are actively developing and fixing things, and they take feedback seriously into consideration.

Phil Reed

Operations @ NATO STO

We could easily add collaboration features to our platform without building it from scratch, with no prior experience at all building chats, etc. Further, the technical team's level of support is outstanding.

David Cole

CEO at Uhai

Their turnkey solution provided my company with a comprehensive set of tools that seamlessly integrated into our application. The ease of implementation was surprising – within a fraction of the time it would have taken to develop these features in-house.

Florian L

It's straightforward to implement and seamlessly integrates into our broker platform to facilitate customer communication. The customer support is top-notch—we consistently receive prompt and helpful responses.

The implementation was easy and straightforward, without complications, as we integrated it into our application.

Jonas Angleflod

Interim CTO @ Deployr AB

Weavy provides a great set of community tools that are right out of the box. Their Feed system allows your network to share posts like Facebook and LinkedIn. It's what users and community members typically expect to see, and Weavy does a great job at making this system easily embeddable into your application.

Martin Bråkenhielm

CEO @ Bizpart

It’s the fact that we can add these features that are essential for our users without taking any resources away from our core product team – so we can deliver on our roadmap promises.

Chris Szymansky

CTO @ Fieldguide

We use Weavy primarily for document syncing with Excel and Word. We take advantage of the native sync capabilities so customers can open a Microsoft Word document, save it, and sync it back to our product.

Kasra Owji
