Striking Balance with Weavy & Wijmo

A hackathon inspired by systems thinking methodology - visualize and collaborate around data to create balance

Weavy + Wijmo Hackathon

Modern issues require a new way of thinking

By synthesizing and combining different parts, we can build a better solution to address our current issues

Why: The teams at Weavy and Wijmo want to see what you can do when you use our tools together.

What: Your challenge is to build an implementation that lets people work together to visualize complex datasets, taking various themes and combining them to create a new way of addressing and solving some of our most prevailing impact issues.

How: Is up to you: pick one topic or mix and match data.

When: Kickoff will be June 23, 2022, with an ideation phase.

Stay tuned for more details regarding development phase, prizes, and more.

How does it work?

The hackathon consists of three stages;
1. Ideation > 2. Submission > 3. Grand finale

  • The ideation phase lasts 5 weeks and during this time you will want to submit your project idea.
  • When your idea has been approved it’s time to create your project.
  • During the submission phase, which lasts 3 weeks, you can submit your project solution for review.
  • The top 10 submissions will then make it on to the finals.
  • In the final phase you will be invited to a live streamed event, where each finalist will hold a 3 minute presentation of their project.
  • The jury will, during the streamed event, crown 1st, 2nd, 3rd and badge of honor winners.
